Richard

Like many grill enthusiasts, Richard has been grilling throughout his adult life and understood that cleaning a grill was a necessary — if often unpleasant — part of the process. He knew that neglecting proper cleaning not only impacted flavor, but also created safety concerns. That firsthand experience led him to recognize a clear gap in the market: homeowners needed a professional, dependable company they could trust for grill cleaning, maintenance, and repair. Born and raised in the Philadelphia region, Richard shared the idea with friends and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Encouraged by the enthusiasm and the clear market demand, he founded The Grill Authority in the fall of 2023.

With a strong background in transportation operations and service management, Richard brought the mindset needed to build a scalable service business. Having personally cleaned hundreds of grills and developed a deep understanding of the operation, Richard now plays a key role in leading The Grill Authority’s growth as it expands into a multi-state operation.

Don

For more than 60 years, Don has called the Philadelphia region home. With over 30 years of experience in the service industry, he has built his career around one core principle: delivering an exceptional customer experience every single time. His background includes founding and franchising a national service company in 2016, expanding it across the country before eventually selling it. That experience gave Don a deep understanding of what it takes to build a reliable, well-run, customer-driven brand.

Recognizing a growing demand for a reliable and professional grill cleaning company, Don applied his experience and helped launch The Grill Authority. Along with his partners, he built the company to meet that need with a focus on quality, consistency, and trust.

Today, the mission is simple: to provide expert grill cleaning and service with the highest levels of professionalism, communication, and care.
